Microsoft has
announced the availability of the Lumia 640 DTV and Lumia 640 XL in the
Brazilian market. Both handsets offer an excellent set of
specifications at budget-friendly price tag. Plus Dual-SIM version of Lumia 640 comes built-in with digital TV tuner for entertainment on the go.
Both devices run latest Windows Phone 8.1 our of the box and come with a one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal, 1TB of OneDrive storage and discounts on travel packages in Hotel Urbano.
Both
handsets shares some core specs, have a powerful 1.2GHz quad-core
processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 400, 8GB of internal memory, plus slot for
Micro SD card up to 128 GB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA and Bluetooth
4.0. But there are some differences between them:
Lumia 640 Dual-SIM
sports a 5-inch 720p IPS LCD display, a 8 megapixel camera with LED
flash, 1 megapixel front camera and comes with 2500 mAh battery that
guarantees more than 15 hours of talk time on 3G connection.
Where Lumia 640 XL
boasts a larger 5.7-inch 720p display with ClearBlack technology, and
features better 13MP rear camera as well as the 5MP front camera for
selfies and a massive 3,000mAh battery, that allows up to 24 hours of
talk time on 3G.
Availability:
The Digital TV version of Lumia 640 Dual-SIM is available in bright white and matte black color options for R$799,
from stores and kiosk from Nokia Online Shop and, very soon, from major
retailers in the country. A version with a single SIM and LTE support
will be sold in the near future.
Where the larger Lumia 640 XL which is priced R$999 will be available at the same points of sale, in Dual SIM LTE and LTE Single SIM options very soon
