Its a season of weddings and after two big Bollywood divas Sonam Kapoor and Neha Dhupia entering the married club, its singer Himesh Reshammiya and Sonia Kapoor joining the bandwagon.
The news about their affair was doing the rounds for a long time and finally, the couple tied the knot yesterday. The couple got married in a close-knit ceremony at Himesh’s apartment’s terrace. The wedding was conducted as per Gujarati rituals but Sonia was decked up as a Punjabi bride in a light pink lehenga with beautiful kaleeras adding to her beauty.

Talking about his new journey with wife Sonia, Himesh said, “I am really happy that Sonia and I have embarked on this new journey. She is a lovely girl. I have loved her unconditionally and the feeling is mutual.”
While Sonia said, “Himesh is a wonderful human being and my soulmate. He means the world to me and I am very happy to start this beautiful journey with him.”
A source close to the newlyweds added, “Sonia will not be taking up any acting offers now. She wants to focus on family. At the wedding ceremony, both sides of family members were present. Himesh’s parents blessed the newlyweds and participated in the rituals. The couple will take off on their honeymoon on Sunday to an undisclosed location abroad.”
