After Sunil Grover, Priyanka Chopra, and Disha Patani, now director Ali Abbas Zafar now revealed the name of yet another female star who will be seen in Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’. Tabu is the actress who will play a significant role in the film. Bharat is co-produced by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. The film is slated for an EID 2019 release.
However, Priyanka Chopra reuniting with Khan after a decade and Sunil will be seen as Salman Khan’s friend in the film. Director Ali Abbas Zafar took to Twitter welcomed the actress on board the project and wrote: “Finally it’s happening, so excited to work with you :) lots of love @tublb”
While talking to the leading daily Ali Abbas Zafar about Tabu said, “I have been a huge fan of Tabu and always wished to work with her. I am happy that it’s finally happening. We are glad too!”
Well, some secret source reveals that Katrina can also be the part of Bharat but yet no official announcement has been made. Bharat is the remake of the Korean film – An Ode to my Father which is directed by Yoon Je-kyoon.
Talking about the film’s plot, Ali had earlier told, “Since the story spans over a period of 70 years, there will be many historical references. It is essentially about a man who lives through several significant moments from India’s past to present. We are currently working on the film’s pre-production and details will be announced once we are in a position to talk about them.”
