Bollywood has witnessed star kids getting a fair amount of chance in the films. Be it from the Kapoors or any other star kid whose parents are already a hit actor or director/producer entered the films on a great note.
Well, some star kids ruled Bollywood and are still doing so while some couldn’t gain the same stardom as their parents.
Also, these star kids got a chance to share screen space with their parents. Some films performed really well and fans were thrilled to see them together onscreen while some films badly bombed at the box-office. Courtesy, the bad luck of the star kids, LOL!
Take a look at the list and you will understand I’m trying to say.
- Sooraj Pancholi and Aditya Pancholi
The father-son duo starred together in Sooraj’s debut film Hero which badly bombed at the box-office. We don’t know whose luck was bad!
- Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Dutt
Munnabhai MBBS was the last first which saw the popular father-son jodi. The movie won hearts and also was a huge box-office hit. Now, that’s what we call good luck!
- Akshaye Khanna and Vinod Khanna
Akshaye and Vinod Ji’s film Himalayputra witnessed the father-son pair together onscreen, however, the film badly performed and was declared a flop.
- Kumar Gaurav and Rajendra Kumar
Both were popular stars in their times and the father-son jodi had a huge impact of their stardom when they shared screen in Love Story which was a blockbuster.
- Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan
Big B is a megastar and enjoys a huge fan following even at this age. The father-son duo starred in many films together and maximum of them were a hit. Sarkar Raj , Paa, Bunty Aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Shootout At Lokhandwala among others were a huge hit.
- Esha Deol And Dharmendra
Dharam Ji was a huge star in his times and even rules hearts till date, however, Esha couldn’t achieve the same stardom like her superstar parents. Esha and Dharmendra shared screen in the film Tell Me Oh Khuda which bombed at the box-office.
- Shahid Kapoor and Pankaj Kapoor
Both father and son are quite popular in Bollywood and have gained prominent importance in all the films. However, when the father-son duo came together for Shandaar, it was not at all shandaar. The film was a huge dud.
So, fate doesn’t always favor everyone even if you belong to the family of superstars.
