People sometimes go crazy over the Bollywood and Sports celebrity they like. We have seen several instances of people travelling miles get a glimpse of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and they wait for several hours outside Shahrukh Khan’s residence Mannat just to see him.
However, you might not have ever heard of a woman travelling miles to meet an IPD Officer. Well, that’s true. A 27-year-old woman hailing from Hoshiyarpur district of Punjab travelled to Ujjain to meet the 34-year-old IPS officer Sachin Atulkar, who is currently posted as Superintendent of Police in the city.
While talking to the police, she said that she lost her way and reached Ujjain. However, she kept on insisting to meet the IPS officer, Sachin. Police was trying to counsel her and send her back to her city. Women Police Station in-charge Rekha Verma said, “She was trying to meet the SP at his office and at programmes which he attended. She is very adamant. Police finally took her to the department’s One Stop Reform Home.”
The woman became his fan via social media. She was amazed by his looks that she saw in the pictures on social media. Verma said, “The woman said she was fascinated by the ripped body and the looks of the SP after seeing his pictures on social media. We have called her parents here, but she is not ready to return with them,”
According to the police, the woman is a postgraduate student of psychology and is adamant that she will no leave unless she meets the officer.
Talking about this, Verma said, “Police took her to Nagda railway station to put her on a Punjab-bound train, but she threatened to jump off the train. We are trying to persuade her through counsellors. We are fulfilling her food demands, pizza and other things she asks for.”
Later, the parents of the woman arrived to convince her to go back. On speaking about the whole incidence, IPS officer Sachin says that he cannot be forced to meet someone against his wish unless it is for official work.
A few months back, pictures of Sachin Atulkar broke the internet as people were amazed by this handsome hunk. People even commented that he can give a tough time to Bollywood actors. Sachin is a fitness freak who spends 70 minutes in the gym every day. He has even won several fitness competitions.
