OnePlus 6T durability test: scratches don't bother the in-display fingerprint reader

The OnePlus 6T was unveiled just minutes ago and it already had to face the JerryRigEverything durability test. Not just that, Zack was at the event in New York and he disassembled the phone in front of a live audience.
Back to the durability test. The phone has Gorilla Glass 6 on the front, which gets minor scratches at a level 6 and deeper ones at level 7 of the Mohs’ scale. The thing to worry about here is that the in-display fingerprint reader needs a clear view of your finger through the glass. The good news is that it seems undeterred and works just fine even with a badly scratched glass.
What about the glass on the back? The Midnight Glass back has a frosted finish and softer metals leave traces that can be wiped off. Harder metal will leave permanent scratches, however, so you still need to be careful.
The video concludes with the bend test – how tough is the OnePlus 6T? Well, we don’t want to spoil the ending, so hit play.
