1. Eugenie Bouchard
Eugenie Bouchard is a Canadian tennis player who has also spent time
modeling for sports. She was one of the massive numbers of people to
underestimate the New England Patriots in the 2017 super bowl against
the Atlanta Falcons. She was so sure of their defeat that she made a bet
with 20 year Old University of Missouri student John Goehrke via
twitter.
When she tweeted that Falcons will win, Goehrke asked if the tennis
player would go on a date with him if they lost. She agreed and the
Patriots pulled off Arguably the greatest comeback in super bowl
history. Bouchard then flew Goehrke to New York to watch a Brooklyn Nets
game with her.
2. Ronda Rousey
MMA fighter Rona Rousey is intimidating to many people and for good
reason, some men would be nervous about dating a woman who could
probably beat them at arm wrestling, but as we know there are few things
that the Marines fear. One brave fan Jarrod Haschert asked her to be
his date to the Marine Corps Ball via facebook.
She decided that his offer was one thing she couldn’t beat and agreed
to it. Rousey showed up to the ball after her epic defeat against Holly
Holm.
3. Shaun White
When 18-year-old Carly Monzo from Flourtown, PA asked Olympic gold
medalist Shaun White to her prom, she received no response at all which
she deserved as her prom proposal was amazing.
She used a GoPro to film a music video asking him to prom, she
utilized an original poem she had written as well as music from White’s
band ” Bad Things”. She and her friends proceeded to tweet the video to
White repeatedly when they received no acknowledgment, Monzo assumed
that her White Knight wasn’t going to show up. But it turns out that
White was working behind the scenes to make Monzo’s prom truly
spectacular and they had spent the whole night together after prom.
4. Dwayne Wade
Before he began playing for the Chicago Bulls, Dwayne Wade was known
for being a popular member of the Miami Heat. He was so popular that a
high schooler Nicole Muxo uploaded a video to youtube inviting him to
attend her senior prom as her date. When she didn’t receive a response,
she confidently tweeted him the prom details so he would know where to
show up.
Wade showed up at the prom and according to him, they had a blast in
the prom. He danced despite his knee injuries that impressed everyone
more.
5. Mila Kunis
Once Sgt. Moore recorded a video asking actress Mila Kunis to
accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball. He added that she could have the
privilege of calling him Scotty and implored her to consider being his
date.
Mila Kunis happily agreed and Moore was thrilled to be able to show her the Marine Traditions practiced at the event.
6. Justin Timberlake
Kelsey De Santis was a marine combat instructor and she made a
youtube video in which she asked Timberlake to accompany her to the
dance at the Richmond Convention center in Richmond, VA. Timberlake
agreed and was really happy with his experience.
The two reportedly had an amazing evening that had special emotional
significance for Timberlake, who was nearly moved to tears by his
experience.
7. Evelyn Lozada
Evelyn Lozada never had the opportunity to attend her own prom, as
she was pregnant with her daughter Shaniece at the time. When high
school senior Anthony Nelson reached out to her on twitter asking her to
be his prom date, she happily accepted.
Not only did she invest in a gorgeous dress for herself, she also
splashed out on a luxury vehicle to take them to prom. In return, Nelson
presented a Corsage which she was delighted to receive.
8. Drake
When 18-year-old Kenedy Brown from Houston, TX was battling from
stage four brain cancer and knew she won’t be able to make it to the big
dance, six of her friends launched a social media campaign on Twitter
using #DrakeforKen in hopes that Brown’s favorite musician would see
their message.
Her friends hosted a surprise prom in Kennedy’s honor. As soon as
Drake became aware of the twitter campaign, he flew to Houston to meet
Brown and her family. He even documented their meeting on Instagram.
9. Nina Agdal
LA high school senior Jake Davidson recorded a youtube video asking
sports illustrated swimsuit model Kate Upton to his senior prom. Upton
retweeted the video by asking how she could turn down that video.
About 2.6 million people watched Davidson’s video and one of them was
Danish supermodel Nina Agdal. She was so moved by his request that she
stepped to escort him to the prom. She didn’t seem to mind not being his
first choice and enjoyed pretty well.
10. Ariana Grande
In 2012, Jai Brooks and his twin brother Luke decided to compete to
see which of the two could win the attention of Ariana Grande. In
addition to his persistent tweets, Jai created a youtube video for her
in which he explained why the two should date. The brotherly rivalry
garnered which proceeded to trend on twitter.
It was Ariana’s mother who saw the tweets and told her to choose any
one of the brothers. Ariana chose Jai because she believed him to be
more sincere of the two and they began dating long distance until they
met in person. But sadly they both separated in July 2014 officially.
