On Monday, I a significant change was observed in the share market and that changed the rankings of some of the most Valuable Private companies in the world. We all know till the end of 2018, Microsoft managed to remain at the top spot in the list of most valuable private companies. However, the New Year brought a huge change in the share market and Microsoft was dethroned. Let us take a look at the top 5 most Valuable private companies.
5. Facebook – $398 Billion Approx
The online social media service company continued to grow in the market. With a market cap of $398 Billion (Rs 28 Lakh Crore), it is the fifth most valuable private company in the world.
4. Apple Inc. – $701.1 Billion
It is an American multinational technology company. Furthermore, it had been the most valuable private company in the world for seven years before being surpassed by Microsoft back in December. Apple Incsuffered a huge loss due to the decreasing demands of I phones in the market.
3. Alphabet Inc. – $752.18 Billion
It was created through a corporate restructuring of Google on October 2, 2015, and became the parent company of Google and several former Google subsidiaries. Now it is the third most Valuable private company in the world.
2. Microsoft – $783.4 Billion
Microsoft managed to remain at the top spot in the list of most valuable private companies. However, the New Year brought a huge change in the share market and the American multinational technology company was dethroned.
1. Amazon – $796.8 Billion
On Monday, the market closed with a 3.4% increment in the share values of the digital marketing company, Amazon. The company has now a market cap of $796.8 Billion (Rs 70 Lakh Crore). The increment in the share values has put the company on the top spot. Also, check what is the meaning of the Amazon logo.
