WSJ: iPhone 11 will have triple camera, XR successor will have dual

The new generation of iPhones are still just four months old now but intel is already piling up on the iPhone 11. Earlier this week we saw the first alleged renders of the upcoming iPhone 11 and today there's a fresh report about it.
According to sources close to the Wall Street Journal, the premium iPhone 11 will gain a triple camera while the iPhone XR successor will get a dual snapper on its back. The report further elaborates that the iPhone XR successor will retain the Liquid Retina (LCD) screen and that Apple will likely move to an OLED only lineup in 2020.

The report doesn't specify if both the regular and larger iPhone 11 (that's a non-final name) will have triple cameras or if that setup will be reserved for the iPhone 11 Max.
We still have a long way to go before the next-gen iPhones arrive, but it makes sense that Apple will focus on the cameras in the iPhone 11 generation. It's a longstanding rumor that Apple will add an ultrawide camera to its iPhones and it's expected that they will also feature a Night Mode, similar to what the Huawei and Pixel phones offer (and Samsung is developing).
